Finals Week
Finals week is typically the last week of the quarter. The final exam schedule can be found on the Final Exam Schedule.

Registration Period
There are specific time periods during which you may register for courses. To find your individual registration date and time, log in to the Student Registration App and select "Get Date to Register." Your registration date and time will be posted two weeks before the start of the registration period.
Drop with a "W"
The grade "W" stands for “withdrawal.” This means that you dropped a course between weeks 3 and 8. There are benefits and downsides to dropping a course with a "W." Whereas letter grades affect your GPA, a "W" grade is not calculated in your GPA.
However, having too many withdrawals can affect your academic standing, so it is highly recommended that you meet with a counselor before withdrawing from a course. Also, you will be ineligible for a tuition refund if you drop with a "W."
Add/Drop Dates
Once the quarter begins, there’s a limited amount of time to add or drop courses. Typically, it falls within the first two weeks of the term. Adding a course after the start of the term requires an add code.
Requesting an add code doesn’t guarantee a place—it’s up to the discretion of the instructor and depends on the nature of the course. You'll learn how to request an add code, and learn more about adding or dropping a class later in the orientation.
