Did you ever use video games in school ?

In my home county when I  was schooling primary , middle and high school I had never play video games in school but when am schooling here i saw some class were conducting video game and let the student participate or compete .

Do you think they are useful in the classroom ? why or why not ?

In my point of view it is useful for the student , sometimes students are learning long hour in the class they might boring or distracting .
